ELECTRIC bike maker Energica revealed this new 100hp+ streetfighter at the Eicma 2014 motorcycle show in Milan.

Called the Energica Eva, it's a naked version of the firm's Ego model, an electric superbike making a claimed 136hp and 144lbft and with a 150mph top speed.

It's thought the Eva's figures will be slightly lower in order to improve on the Ego's claimed 90-mile range at 50mph.

No price has been announced yet but it should undercut the Ego, which is due to go on sale in spring 2015 from £23,781.

The Ego has an oil-cooled AC motor, 11.7 kWh air-cooled batteries and four riding modes.

Italian firm Energica, part of the CRP group that supplies components to Formula One teams, aims to build 500 motorcycles next year.
